Welcome to the CampRanker blog!

This is a blog for the site I would eventually like to create that allows you, the camper, the ability to rank and review individual camp sites within a campground.  If you're anything like me and my wife, you're always trying to find the best site in a campground.  If we've never been to a campground, we usually take the time to drive or walk around the campground and take notes on the campground map about each of the sites (e.g., good view, good water access, very small, bad smell, etc.) and then we use that next time we want to come to pick out one of our favorites.  I've searched high and low and can't find any website that gives this level of campground review on a per site basis, so I birthed CampRanker.com.  I intend on creating a companion iPhone app that will allow you to put in reviews as you are viewing the site, take and upload pictures of it and give you the search-ability to find a great site when you get to the campground.  Hopefully this will take off and provide lots of good information for you and your family.  Happy Camping!
